Carl Sauerwein is a third-generation outfitter with over 40 years of experience guiding and exploring the backcountry of Northwestern Wyoming. Being born into a family of outfitters, Carl has been fully immersed in the lifestyle and has experienced it all. Carl and the crew at Boulder Basin Outfitters are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with their clients. This passion for the mountains and wildlife that make it their home allows us to give you an experience like no other.
