Guiding since 1989, Carl Sauerwein is a third-generation outfitter. With a full lifetime of experience hunting and fishing in the backcountry of Cody, WY, Carl has a level of skill and knowledge of the area and its big game than any average outfitter. Being born into a family of outfitters, Carl has been fully immersed in the lifestyle and has experienced it all. Carl is highly passionate about the land where we ride, hunt, camp, and fish. It’s this passion for the land, the sport, and the excitement of showing this world to others that sets Carl and Boulder Basin Outfitters apart. We take pride in helping create once-in-a-lifetime memories in a landscape that many only get to experience through pictures.
